On July 28, 2023, Lang Son Geopark Management Board collaborated with the Institute for Economic and Policy Research, University of Economics - Hanoi National University, the Office of the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom in Viet Nam and related agencies and units to organize a training course on digital business development for business households to serve cultural tourism in Lang Son province.

The training course is for 30 trainees who are production households in Van Linh commune, Chi Lang district and Yen Phuc commune, Van Quan district. The experts shared the following contents: business household development policy; preserving cultural heritage towards building experience tourism craft villages; food safety and environmental hygiene issues; branding for business households; developing communication and marketing plans for household businesses... Trainees practiced building videos about the production process of agricultural products and specialties on social networking platforms.

Within the framework of the program, the Organizing Committee of the Contest "Improving the value of Lang Son Geopark typical products, aiming to attach the Lang Son Global Geopark Logo" summarized and awarded 11 prizes to representatives of households with excellent achievements (1 first prize, 2 second prizes, 3 third prizes and 5 consolation prizes). The contest was launched March 27 to July 21, 2023, attracting the active participation of 59 production households in Van Linh commune, Chi Lang district and Yen Phuc commune, Van Quan district. The Organizing Committee of the Contest judged the article with illustrations, introducing the origin of the product, the origin of raw materials, the equipment and supplies used to produce and pack the family's products and surroundings.

The training course on digital business development for business households to serve cultural tourism in Lang Son province took place successfully, contributing to improving the quality of human resources in the Lang Son Geopark area, towards to raise the value of Lang Son Geopark and UNESCO Lang Son Global Geopark typical products
